Loss

Charlene died. She was like my . She had Alzheimer's. She was like an aunt to me
when I was growing up. She was my foster mother's cousin, and they were raised together. I think she felt what I was feeling. Since she grew up without her mom. Her mother drowned trying to save someone else. So I think she felt for me. Every time I would see her she would have something special for me. Or do something speacial with me. Trips to the tea house in Colorado. We would all get dressed up and eat cucumber sandwiches and have tea. Speacial shopping trips. Going to visit her was so much fun. I was even in two of her daughters wedding as the flower girl.

I don't know if she ever knew the effect she had on my life. She will be missed.

I also lost my cousin David Muchmore. I did not know him well. From not growing up in my birth family. He was my mother's 1/2 brothers son. He was a very sweet loving guy. I know he is in Heaven. I hope he is running through heaven having the time of his life. He could not do what all the other kids did when he was younger. I hope he is experiencing it now.

We also lost Chopper. My friends big dog. He was a big love dog. Mongo misses him, too. Chopper was the third loss of the year and it put me in a deep funk that I found hard to pull out of. But I have, The sun came out so that helped alot.

So this year there have been four signifigant losses. I hope there are not more to come.

He was one of the most caring loving men I have ever met. He fought harder for me then anyone in my life.

I will miss him more then you will ever know. I want to go to the phone and call home and hear him say. "Hey dani whats up? Heard any good music? I heard this group today." His heart was broken after my mother died. I don't think it ever healed. When we removed him from the machines it was the most awful day of my life. I will never forget it it. It haunts me still.

There are so many things I want to say to him. But he is gone now what the HELL can I say nothing, I can say nothing. I can do nothing.

I was at Win Co yesterday. When I am there I start bagging my groceries while the checker is still ringing up my food. I put it on the belt in the order that I am going to bag it, and start bagging right away as not to hold up the person behind me. I know I'm a smarty.

Other people do not do this they just stand there. They when they do start bagging the groceries it takes them forever. They stand there doing their weird bagging ritual taking htier time backing up the line making everyone wait. ITS ANNOYING!

Also there are these people who wander through the store never looking behind them. Walking like they are in a turtle race. Parking in the middle f the isle. What happened to common courtesy and respect for others. I know it has gone the way of the pet rock. Straight out the window and into the garbage.

Veterans

I have a good friend who lives across the street. He is renting out the basement from Neally Neal. He is a veteran an MP(we'll call him X) in first Gulf War. He is suffering from PTSD, from the wasr and also getting hit by a drunk driver. He goes to this group once a week. There is a guy in his group from this war. He was in a helicopter and was either the only survivor, or one of the only survivors. He is having alot of problems with it . Yesterday X received a phone call from this guy he who needed help. X headed straight out the door to help him. On the way down the drive way he turned and said Sorry gotts go, I can't let him die, NO SOLDIER LEFT BEHIND. It gave me goosebumps. The devotion these soldiers have to each other is awesome. Even after they served they are still not leaving a man behind.

So when a rich and famous junkie dies is it any different then when a regular junkie offs himself. When I saw that Heath was dead I was like wow another junkie died. Brad Renfro another junkie died. Oh but he was a ignored child star. Oh but he was a great actor. Uh yeah but he was a junkie who killed himself with drugs. A choice he made.

You can look at Heath's interviews and various appearances and tell that he was a junkie. I mean really how sad is it when a junkie bent on self destructing self destructs. Big surprise. Or just expected. I mean how sad will everyone really be when Brit Brit offs herself.

People idolize these guys. Why? Because they can act. I mean I know lots of people who could act. Alot of these stars a just junkies who happen to make alot of money. I look at them no differently then any other junkie. And I don't find it that sad that he wasted his life doing heroin, coke, meth or whatever drug it was instead of living. He had children and chose drugs over his children. He made a conscious adult decision to do drugs.

So yet another Hollywood junkie dies. Hollywood consist of LOTS AND LOTS OF JUNKIES. Please don't be surprised when they die! They are idiots with too much money.

Everyone keeps saying the tragic death of Heath Ledher. The tragic death. Tragic that a guy with all the money in the world. all the fame in the world, Did not have enough common sense to know when to quit doing drugs. The headlines should read the stupid death of Heath Ledger.

My mother did not have the common sense to know when to quit doing drugs either. She would hide pill bottles all over the house. She had to have them at arms length. Tragic?

Dr Drew and Adam Carolla were talking about Loveline yesterday on the Adam Carolla show. And they said every other day they were sitting next to a junkie or a drunk. And also Ellen has said before that is is so sad to her to be doing an interview with someone on her show who cleary has a drug problem. Some of them young people some of them older.

Perscribed drugs are abused on a regular basis by people every day. They chop them up and snort them for an instant high. You see when you break the time release covering on an opiate you get an instant high much like heroin. Just cuz I think his death was stupid does not mean I don't feel for his family. There were two VERY important peole in my life who died because they abused perscription drugs and it is stupid that they are both gone.
It is also stupid that Heath had everything in the world money family and people who loved him and he threw it all out the window to do drugs. It is stupid.

His girlfriend had kicked out for abusing drugs. This was not the first time. He was a habitual user who killed himself in the name of getting high. It is sad and stupid. I feel the most sorry for his daughter who will never know her father the way a daughter should. He was stupid and selfish. Only caring what he wanted to do. Not caring thathe had a daughter that needed him to be there for his life. Only caring that he wanted to get high.

Mayor potter please come spend a couple of hours with me. Explore the many sides of 82nd street with me. See what we put up with daily. There are tweekers freely wanderin 82nd. They live in the woods behind our neighborhood.

They are sex offenders,many are convicted of sex crime against children, they are thieves and probably some even murders. We were slowly getting control of the area because of the prostitute, drug free zone. But I guess Mayor Potter got tired of them roaming around downtown, so when the zones expired he chose not to reinstate them. It is like all these people were hiding somewhere and came out as soon as the ones expired. The homeless tweeker population has tripled around here. I know Mayor Potter like to just think of them smiply as homeless. But they are not just simply homeless. They are dangerous, drug fueled wackoes. Intent on getting money any way they can t score drugs. Whether it is selling themselves in front of Fred Meyer's, or at the bus stops our children stand at. Or stealing our credit cards or breaking into our homes and cars.

That is who these people are Mr. Potter and you have freely realized them upon us not caring what the repercussion suffered by your tax paying citizens. It is like he cares more about the welfare of these tweekers, crack heads and heroin addicts then he does about the tax paying citizens of his city.

They have also seen fit to remove the Drug Enforcement patrols at night. That is when these people are out and about. And the police and the Mayor just let them roam freely.

So Erica and I were at the Wal Mart last Friday. And this lil short lady goes running by. I think she might of been a midget. I woke up this morning to six piles of dog bark. This was at 6:45 after having a few drinks the night before. One pile in my bedroom. And five in the dining room room and kitchen. Mongo just walked around the island barfing. Then I barfed in the back yard. Barefoot in my P.J.'s barfing in the rain. What a glorious day.

Lets see what else. Yesterday. The my youngest son and two other neighbors kids and a helped the cops find a criminal. Yes a real life criminal. And even better a tweeker. You know how I love them tweekers. Well the cops go screamen down our street after this guy who is on foot. He had been seen coming out a window of a house with big brown gloves on. We are all standing in the back yard and see the guy their looking for in the back behind our house. The kids take off down the street following this guy. The watch him climbing fences and stuff. They tracked him down a few blocks away to a house. Where he knew the people and was standing outside just chatting them up like he wasn't who they were looking for. He saw the kids coming and ran in the guys house. The cops come screachen up run in the house and arrest this guy.

These poor people had no idea this guy was running from the cops. His name is Randy Tucker. He is a notorious meth head who grew up in this neighbor. His family is long since gone. But he is still here. They should of taken him with them. There have been alot of break ins around here. Most likely all due to his return. But what he did not know was we have Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys and Magnum P.I. running the streets around here. SO WATCH OUT!

The kids did have a grown up with them so don't be alarmed.

People who cheat. When you are dating as girlfriend and boyfriend it is different then cheating when you are married. When you are married you take a vow not to cheat. And when people try and justify their cheating it is funny to me. How do you justify being a liar and a cheat? If a person can lie to the mother or father of their children, the person closest to them. Then they can easily lie to others.

To me when a person cheats it is proof that they are a liar and a cheat. Straight out proof. Laid out right before your eyes. They might as well wear a sign that says Hi I am a liar and a cheat. I can lie with ease and without caring how it affects the person I am cheating on and have lied to.

If you are married and not happy and meet someone else, it is respectful to say hey look I'm not happy, I met someone else. End the marriage and let the other person who you no longer want to be with go and be happy too. Or you can continue to live with them and sneak around and lie to the person closest to you making both of you unhappy.

I also think it says a lot about the person who you are cheating with. That they can be with someone else's spouse makes them just as bad as the person cheating. It show a major disrespect and lack of morals. I also find it interesting when the people who cheat continue the relationship after the divorce. I wonder if they ever really trust the person. Cuz if they can cheat on their spouse they can just as easily cheat on you.

And how it affects the children. You may think it doesn't hurt the children they don't know what happened. Maybe they don't. But when they get older and find out the truth, it will be bad. Bad for the parent that cheated. There will be anger and the child may cut themselves off from you completely. Because they will find out the truth.

Being a cheater affects all aspects of your life. When I find out someone has cheated it immediately changes my view of that person.

Sophie the girl dog

Sophie the dog is gone. My little sisters bought Sophie for 50 dollars at a party. The guy that owned her kept her locked in the bedroom in his apartment all the time. We got her from my mom after my sisters moved out.

She loved her ball, running the fence with the big dogs and her buddy Mongo.

My husband and I took her in yesterday. She was a good dog and will be missed. She had lots of friends who will miss her. My cousin Tim used to share his bed with Sophie when he lived at my moms. Sophie was vey sick, she had cancer and went down hill very quickly. Yesterday was a really bad day for her she could not get up and walk and when she did she cried. So we knew it was time.

Mongo is so sad. He keeps looking for her. She was his girlfriend although she was much older then him.

She had a lot of friends who will miss her.

Hollywood lets its money makers die. Marilyn Monroe, Dana Plato, Jonathon Bandis and now Anna Nicole. Paris Hiltons name will likely be on that list and some other Hollywood starlets. Hollywood takes people and use them til all the money is gone. Then they turn their back and head for the new big money maker.

I always felt really sad for Anna. Coming from a screwed up background, with a messed up mother I know that there are only two ways to go. Up or Down and down goes no where fast. And if you don't stop it or no one stops it you never come up again.

Anna Nicole has needed help for a long time and everyone ignored it and kept pushing her back out there to help make them more money. The Trim Spa commercials were a big signal. She slurred her words in those commercials and they just kept running them smiling like nothing is wrong. Hugh Hefner and Playboy turned their back on her long ago. It is quite sad. She seemed funny, had a good sense of humor, loved her kids and she could poke fun at herself.

When people are thrown into Hollywood with no back up this happens to them Lindsey Lohan for example. She needs to take her rehab serious or this will be her.

Young Hollywood starlets need to pay attention to what has just happened.

Apparently 14 people have resigned over this book "Palestine: Peace, Not Apartheid". I never liked Jimmy Carter, as a kid he gave me the creeps. When he came on T.V. I would leave the room. I wondered how people could elect someone so weird looking as President. It also turned me off that his brother was so disgusting and drunk. Jimmy just always stood there and grinned. With his drunk ass brother by his side grinnin.

As an adult I have liked him even less. Hollywood seems to love him though. Paula Dean went to his house or something on her show and just raved about how great he was. I turned the channel. Couldn't watch it. His views are so extreme to me.

Also there was the great "Peace" Deal he brokered under the Clinton administration. Worked well. And he still acts like he did something grand. He made a deal with the devil shaking hands with Arafat. Grinin like a ginny eaten briars the whole time.

Steve Wynn as we all saw stuck his elbow through a 138 million dollar painting. It seems to me the it was a jackassish move to begin with. When you are standing next to a Ferrari your careful, when your holding a baby your careful. When you in an art museum your careful when your standing on the edge of a canyon looking down your careful. When your crossing the street your careful.

He depreciated the value of the painting himself and now he wants someone to pay for it. What a JACKASS! He has to eat the loss. he never collected the 138 million dollars. It is plain and simple common sense. he collected 48.4 million that's all he gets. Because that is all it was worth. He ruined a Picasso he should be flogged!

Death is never acceptable in a war. But it is what it is all about. It is about killing the enemy until they are all dead or surrender. Muslims have been attacking Americans for a might long time. And will continue to attack Americans if we leave Iraq. There will not be a peace treaty where Muslims agree to quit killing and bombing people. They will just have more time to plan and carry out attacks on American soil.

This is the way I look at it. We threw a war in Afghanistan and nobody came. Why? Because terrorist groups don't generally pay you to get to the war. People in Muslim countries can not afford to get on a plane and fly to fight in a war. Some barely eat. But they can all load up in a Toyota Tacoma and drive across the border to Iraq.

The war in Iraq is the war on terror. It has been since Saddam fell. Muslims are pouring across the border into Iraq to fight Americans. People don't understand that and it is scary. Because if we quit fighting them in Iraq we will just have to fight them somewhere else. And where will that somewhere else be?

Hey I did not even tell you guys Merry Christmas. Sorry it has been really busy around here. Had a nice Christmas at our house with some friends and family. All thopugh alot of people came by through out the day only six were here for Christmas dinner. Santa came by a couple of days before to see if the day care kids had been good this year. Some have some haven't. You know who you are.

New years should be pretty big though. Last year one of our friends actually wandered over to the neighbors and slept on their porch. Then smashed his face on a rock coming up the hill. It was AWESOME!

What was 14 year old Danny Crawford doing out after midnight egging cars? Where was his mother? Where was the parental supervision of these kids? The mother is just as responsible for her sons death as the man that gunned him down is. You won't find my kids roaming the streets after midnight.
